With the glass on method, chandeliers are cleaned by spraying a cleaning solution onto a white cotton glove or lint-free cloth. This process must avoid ammonia-based cleaners, as it can take the finish off and potentially damage the chandelier, which is not great for anyone. The glass off method is safer. as you completely remove the glass or crystals from the chandelier. This method allows for greater access to the frame of the chandelier, while using the same cleaning solution.
